Mr Bradley, you analyse is very thoughtful and thorough. I do dispare with America’s peoples. America’s history has produced a nation of Petite bourgeoisie, who live in the hope they will make it big. They vote Republican for this reason. They call socialism communism for the same reason; one day they will make it big, so no big government for them.

Consequently, America is the first poor rich country where only a few have most of the nations wealth. This leads to inequality, poverty, and racism.

A society that respects everyone and treats everyone equally is a happy society. America is not a happy country but rather one that is crying out for compassion. Don’t bother looking for compassion from Trump and the Republican Party. Americans are on there own, that is why many more Americans will die from this deadly pandemic. They only hope the poor, the disadvantaged, the sick have, is to get rid of this terrible, neglectful, negligent, incompetent and indifferent President who is killing the people he is required to protect🙏🏿

Thank you for the kind words.
Surprisingly, although I'm pretty progressive on most social issues, I lean center-right on economic ones.
The issue lies in the fact that much of the Republican Party does not represent free markets, but crony…

Well said, this is it in a nut shell. This explains why so many lower middle class Republicans vote against their own interests. It’s all about the fantasy that will never happen.
